Meet Sleep Timer! Sleep Timer lets you configure a timer for turning off any media that is currently playing on your phone. You can also sleep WiFi, Bluetooth, and even the Screen! Not working?
- Your web browser may need updating. You can check and update it in the Help section of your browser’s menu.
- Try opening the web player in a private/incognito window. Find the option to open a new private/incognito window in your browser’s menu.
- If you see the message “Playback of protected content is not enabled”, check out Enable the web player.
- Check @SpotifyStatus for any ongoing issues.
- Some shared or public networks (e.g. schools/work/office) restrict access to certain services. You can contact those responsible for managing the network for more information.

VLC is a well known open-source media player that supports playing almost all kinds of media formats on computer as well as mobile devices. Therefore, it's favored by most of us as the best media player to play music or movies offline on any device.

In fact, that's caused by something called DRM, a technology used by the digital content providers to protect the copyright of the items. It's applied to Spotify songs so that we are not allowed to transfer the protected tracks to VLC and other non-Spotify media players even if you are using the premium account of Spotify.
